Bantahan Director Game Ori and the Will of The Wisps Terkait Rumor Ori 3
Dilansir dari Game Insider, Thomas Mahler selaku Director Game Ori dan juga Bos di Moon Studios menyebutkan jika rumor soal pengembangan Ori 3 itu adalah salah. Dia menegaskan kembali jika ia dan timnya sedang merencanakan untuk membeli IP Ori dari pihak XBOX.
Thomas menyebutkan jika ia sama sekali tidak mendengar apapun soal pengembangan game baru Ori. Sang Bos Moon Studios ini menyebutkan jika pihak Microsoft mulai sadar akan potensi IP miliknya tersebut, setelah sekian lama mencoba menghidupkan kembali franchise Halo.
Ia bahkan menambahkan dengan mengatakan jika timnya saat ini memang sedang mengerjakan soundtrack bersama Gareth Coker di Vienna untuk No Rest for The Wicked, IP terbaru dari Moon Studios. Thomas merasa semua rumor tersebut hanyalah omong kosong belaka mengetahui pihak Moon Studios berencana untuk membawa kembali IP tersebut dari XBOX.
Asal-usul Rumor Game Baru Ori 3
Semuanya bermula dari seorang yang diduga leaker dengan username Kiri_Kis557 dari forum Reset Era yang menyebutkan di acara Gamescom 2026 akan menunjukkan teaser Ori 3. Ia menyebutkan jika nanti game baru Ori akan dibuat oleh Saber Interactive, yang artinya game baru tersebut memang belum dimiliki kembali oleh Moon Studios.
Leaker tersebut juga menambahkan jika tidak hadir di Gamescom, kemungkinan akan hadir pada Xbox Developer Direct nanti. Itulah informasi terkait dengan bocoran sekuel game Ori.
Kini setelah acara pembukaan Gamescom 2026 telah berakhir, kita tidak ada sama sekali melihat adanya pengumuman game baru Ori seperti yang diklaim oleh rumor tersebut.
